We know that coming to a new church for the first time can often be intimidating. At LIFT, you will feel welcomed and accepted from the moment you step through the door. Our dress is casual, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and laid back. One of the most common things we hear at Lift is, “This just feels like home!” So, welcome home!

What should I expect?

Expect God’s Presence: His Presence is the essential and defining component of our services. Without it, we are nothing; within it we find everything. His Presence is what heals us, comforts us, guides us and breathes new life into us and into our services.

Expect to find Grace: We don’t measure people, we treasure them – just like Jesus does.

Expect Holy Spirit’s Leading: We prepare for our services but we will quickly to lay our plans down to embrace what the Lord wants to do. His plans trump our plans and we are okay with that.

Our Sunday morning services are where we come together as a body of believers and worship Jesus. A service is typically a 90 minute experience with two main elements: music & message. The music is played by a live band and worship team, and the message is Bible-based and practical. But LIFT is so much more because we value relationships too. Many come early and stay late because they simply enjoy spending time with one another. These are great times to meet others and begin making new friends.

Pre-Service Rally (open to everyone) We pray, share and laugh…a lot!

Open time to hangout with others over a cup of coffee or a bottle of water.

Lift Worship Service (kid’s classes for birth – 6th grades)

Open time to hangout with others and maybe go to lunch with someone new!

What about my kids?

Transforming KidsBring them! Your children are a top priority at Lift Church. We purposefully bring our children alongside us on this journey because God uses families and generations, not just individuals, to do His greatest work in history. Children play a vital role at Lift Church today, not just in the church of tomorrow.

Our classes for kids are clean, safe, fun and staffed with loving workers. We have creative, exciting programs for children from Birth to Preschool (Lil’ Lift) and 1st-6th Grades (LiftKIDS) during each Sunday service. We use an electronic check-in system to assure your child remains safe and where they are supposed to be at all times. Our awesome team members teach and model biblical values that will help your kids build a strong foundation of faith to grow on. Your kids will love it!

What about Youth?

For your junior high and high school students, our Converge Youth Gathering is a place created just for them to know God and be known by others. On Wednesday nights at 6:00-8:00PM each week, our Converge students have their own special service. This is a chance for all of our students to come together for a great night of worship, teaching, and hanging out, so make sure your Converge students are here on Wednesdays for that special service.

If you have a heart for the next generations, come help us make LIFT a rich environment for young people to truly find their place now and not someday “when I grow up.”

We are a FAMILY!

We are a family of faith eager to partner with you and yours to discover our destinies together. And our people are awesome! They are regular, everyday people, just like you, who are on an extraordinary journey to become all God created them to be. You won’t find perfect people or those who are religious or legalistic. Our goal isn’t perfection, it’s progress. You will find none of us have arrived, we are just moving in His direction.

One of the most common things we hear at Lift is, “This just feels like home!”

So…welcome home!

Come see how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to go after God with passion!

The Bible is full of stories about the hearts, minds and bodies that were transformed forever by experiencing the matchless love of Jesus Christ and how that love spread in ever-widening circles as followers of Jesus continued to pursue His ways.

At LIFT, we are still experiencing this transforming power of God’s love in our own lives and we invite you to join us as we learn together how we can share that love with the people of our community and ultimately the people of the world.

We exist to…

Be Light – without light, darkness prevails

“I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.” (John 12:46)

Jesus said of us, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)

Give Hope – without hope, faith has no substance

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Demonstrate God’s Power – without His power, church is a religious exercise where we strive in our own strength

“For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance” (1 Thess 1:5)

“Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus” (Acts 4:29-30)

Celebrate God’s Presence – without God’s Presence, we are simply nothing

“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy” (Psalms 16:11)

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the Presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen” (Jude 1:24-25)

God’s Presence

His Presence is the essential and defining component of our lives and our services. Without it, we are nothing; within it we find everything. His presence is what heals us, comforts us, guides us and breathes new life into our souls.

Authentic Relationships

We believe that life change does not happen in the context of weekend services but in real and authentic relationships. Therefore, we value relationship as one of the highest priorities in life and believe that every person should be committed to a small group of others in the house of God.

From the beginning of time, God has used creative means to communicate with His people. If God communicates creatively, we want to as well.

The Next Generations

Redefining the church to the next generation demands that we reach and involve young people.

God is worthy of our best. Going beyond what is required, giving our best at all times and bringing joy to God’s heart and glory to His name.

When we bring God and the power of His Word into situations people are facing on a daily basis, lives are changed. Cultural awareness increases our opportunity to connect with people.

Our world is desperately seeking truth and hope. We exist to share the Gospel and see lives changed in our city, our nation and our world through practical ministry that meets people’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

The Value of the One

We believe that the church here on earth should look like heaven and heaven is filled with people who are not all alike yet created by God and matter to Him. In other words…everyone matters, everyone counts.

We do life together. As we work side by side, we share in the joy of seeing our unique strengths, abilities and gifts unite to accomplish God’s kingdom in our community and across the world.

These personal faith declarations help us walk out Our Core Values
  • I am desperate for intimacy with God: I believe one moment in God’s Presence can do more than a lifetime of labor.
  • I expect the unexpected: Faith requires risk, so I will risk more and anticipate change in order to see God’s powerful results.
  • I go to extremes to be excellent: By excellent I mean I will make no casual efforts in any  role I serve or task I do for God.
  • I expect progress: I am not religious or legalistic. My goal isn’t perfection, it is progress. Authenticity with God and each other is the best way for my spiritual family to be healthy and whole.
  • I dream big, believe big & reach big: I refuse to settle. I have a powerful, God-given destiny to fulfill. I want to make a difference and I am not afraid of pressing in and doing whatever it takes.
  • I stand shoulder to shoulder supporting one another: The strength of all of us is greater than the strength of any one of us. Team work makes the dream work.
  • I am Christ-centered and others-focused: The goodness of what God has done in Christ is my motivation to reach, accept and serve people in my community and across the world with the message of Jesus and His Grace.
  • I embrace the church as God’s ultimate cause in the earth: I rally people to devote and plant their lives in the House of God. I defend the culture and unity of my church, the vision of my leadership and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • I am intentionally generous: God is generous, so I will be generous too. Generosity is a trust issue and I trust the Lord. I choose to give the first and best of my time, talent and treasure.
  • I purposefully bring my family alongside: God uses families and generations, not just individuals, to do His greatest work in history.
  • I make room for the God-factor: The Holy Spirit, through His leadership, power and favor, is monumental to my success.
  • I do all for the glory of God: Nothing I do is for personal fame, glory, recognition or selfish ambition.

We are guided by Pastors

The Pastoral Team is led by the Lead Pastor. These staff pastors oversee the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. They serve the congregation and are responsible for the development of the spiritual life of the church.

We are strengthened by Trustees

The Trustees are members of the congregation who oversee the finances, direct the provision of the facilities needed by Lift and provide counsel to the Lead Pastor regarding the major financial commitments.

We are protected by Overseers

The Overseers are three pastors of respected congregations and ministries who love Lift Church and are willing to provide protection to the church. They are available to help in accountability matters relating to the Lead Pastor if requested by the Pastors or Trustees.
