We are transformed when we bring our bared hearts into God’s Presence.
- Transformations is NOT Church as usual.
- Transformations is NOT for the faint of heart.
- Transformations is NOT a “teaching series.”
- Transformations IS living differently and doing Church differently.
Transformations is building a Church into a healing family. It is not a “program” for “addicts”. We are ALL addicts – we all have dependencies on ourselves, others, substances or activities that REPLACE God. Yet in Christ, we are all sons and daughters of God!
Transformations is about building a Church of whole people, in whole relationships, that are “healed enough” to heal the broken world, together. We are the “net” to bring in the lost and broken. The net needs to be strong, built on strong relationships, on the Rock. Can we have FAITH to believe for THIS KIND of victorious church? This is the transformed church that this broken world really needs! If you want a safe place to heal, grow and minister…then Transformations is for you!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
What Does Transformations Look Like?
Transparency – We are as “sick as our secrets.” Transformations is a safe place to regularly confess and forgive sin to one another. “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” James 5:16
Relationship – Enduring, strong relationship is built on the sharing of weakness with one another before God, not in the sharing of strengths. Loving relationship provides safety for confession. “Accountability” is not the biblical model. Confession in safe relationships is. Ongoing support in growing relationships UNDER GOD is what we need to grow.
Acceptance – We have ALL sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. We ALL need the miraculous acceptance of God, that through the punishment of Christ on the cross, our sin is no longer seen by the Father. Experiencing God’s loving acceptance defeats all the works striving within us to perform, to hide, to “pull up our bootstraps”, and it causes us to rely on God, not ourselves. This is where the power to heal comes from.
Grace – When we get out of the way with our advice-giving, when we simply listen to one another’s confessions, we leave room for the Grace of God – Something and Someone wholly Other than ourselves – to bring deep and lasting healing.
Experiencing – We will not be “talking about” transformation, we will be experiencing transformation. It is much easier for us to live in our head and share ideas. Transformations is about living from our hearts, where transformation comes from. Transformation doesn’t come from changing our ideas, it comes from touching our hearts. We will be DOING it, and BEING it, not thinking about it.
Prayer and Worship – We will be channels of Transformation power to one another also through laying on of hands and prayer. Through prayer we will be the Hands and Feet of Jesus to one another. Through worship we will usher in the Healing Presence of Jesus – as He is lifted up, all men will be drawn (up) to Him.
Confidentiality – is the key to safety. Without safety we cannot bare our hearts to God and one another. What is shared in our meetings stays in our meetings.
Power – The power to heal is not in me or you or understanding or knowledge or 12-steps or programs. The power to heal is in The Holy Spirit. The power to deliver is The Holy Spirit.
